If you’re an experienced rider, why not join us for our ever-popular Christmas trek? Ride out for a full 3 hours through the glorious scenery of Cannock Chase, and get the chance to visit parts of the Chase that you don’t normally get to see on one of our regular treks. To add even more fun to the trek, you’re welcome to come along in a horse-friendly costume or even just a decorated hat (both are optional)! Once back at the Ranch Bistro, warm yourself up with a festive lunch.

Our 3-hour themed treks are a great way for our more experienced riders to get a little more time in the saddle. Whether you’re a fan of the show or not, this will be a fun-packed morning ride. Why not get further into the spirit of things by dressing up as one of your favourite characters (horse-friendly costumes only please)? But don’t worry, being a fan of the show isn’t compulsory, and it’s a great way to see a little more of this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Get your cowboy/cowgirl on at our popular ranch party night! After your free drink on arrival, enjoy our Western riding display, ranch-style cookout and drinks from the bar (not included), then dance into the night to a live band.

Get yourself in the festive spirit by joining us at CCTC for our Christmas party night. You’ll enjoy a festive buffet in the Ranch Bistro and a free drink on arrival (others can be purchased from the bar), but don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes to party the night away to a live band!

New for 2024 a three hour trek over Cannock Chase followed by a delicious lunch in our Ranch Bistro.
Experienced riders can join us to discover new exciting routes and get further than you have before to see more of beautiful Cannock Chase.
Following on from this we have lunch, consisting of a Ranch Burger and fries with a cocktail or mocktail (vegetarian options available)

Experienced riders can join us for coffee and pastries in our Ranch Bistro followed by a day riding exciting routes over beautiful Cannock Chase. Halfway round we will stop for a gourmet picnic and prosecco before continuing along different routes during the afternoon.

Back by popular demand for this summer are our evening Indian rides for experienced riders. You’ll ride out over the Chase to a local Indian restaurant, where you will savour al fresco Indian tapas and a drink (included). Then enjoy riding back to the trekking centre at sunset to experience Cannock Chase as it descends into twilight.

A morning filled with pony fun suitable for ages 4 and over. Sessions include a riding lesson and pony care with a break in the middle for a mini pancake stack and luxury milkshake in our Ranch Bistro. Great way to spend the summer holidays getting up close to our wonderful pony team. Limited spaces please give us a call to book.

Perfect introduction to horse riding for children aged 4+
Half hour riding experiences in our covered arena, perfect taster sessions to introduce children to riding.
During these sessions parents can relax in our Ranch Bistro, there will be an opportunity to take some photos at the end.
