About Us

Our proprietor, Lisa Gregory, grew up on a riding school right here on Cannock Chase. She’s passionate about horses and has always wanted others to understand just how satisfying it can be to ride one of these beautiful creatures. So in 1995, after an early career in modelling, Lisa set up Cannock Chase Trekking Centre.

In 2016, our covered arena was opened to the public for horse riding lessons, covering all abilities, taken by our qualified instructor. At the same time, we opened our Ranch Bistro, providing you with a place to warm up in front of our log burner with some delicious food after a winter trek or a place to rehydrate after a summertime trek through the idyllic landscape of Cannock Chase, situated in the heart of the West Midlands. We offer the best off-road riding and trekking experiences, located in beautiful Staffordshire countryside.

Under Lisa’s guidance and inspired by her dedication, we work with others to bring the wonderful experience of horse riding to as many as possible. Those we work with include schools, universities, young offenders and young carers; we also offer our services to corporate clients, who may wish to develop team building and integration strategies with their personnel.
